I didn’t start out as the man I am today. For years, my life was driven by numbing habits, quiet shame, and a deep lack of self-worth. This is the story of how I burned that version of myself down and rebuilt my life through extreme endurance, strength, Jiu-Jitsu, and values-based growth.
In the past, my diet was terrible. Alcohol became an easy escape. Marijuana blurred the edges of life. On the outside I looked functional, but inside I lived with a steady belief that I wasn’t enough. Low self-worth shaped my unconscious mind leading to poor decisions, bad habits, and ultimately the negative way I showed up in the world.
There were a few rock bottom moments that led to a rapidly growing awareness that I was wasting my potential. I knew the life I was living wasn’t sustainable. So I began changing small things: better food, less numbing, more honesty with myself. These small shifts became the foundation for a complete transformation.
I committed to real training—training that forces you to confront yourself, survive and grow. Extreme endurance events like Ironman, Ultraman, Epic 5, Ultra 520, Ultra Marathons and Endurance Cycling became my crucible. Later on, weightlifting rebuilt my strength. More recently, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu sharpened my discipline, humility, and presence. These weren’t just sports; they were the tools that rebuilt my identity and self-worth. I was evolving and acquiring new Values and subsequent beliefs about myself.
At the same time, my professional life was evolving. I was part of the team that helped build and eventually sell a mid-sized powerline contracting company to one of the largest construction companies in Canada. That journey wasn’t about grind—it was about navigating relationships, honoring my core values, and growing as a man through every adverse situation.
Today, I am a man rebuilt—physically, mentally, and spiritually. I’ve lived the consequences of poor choices, and I’ve experienced the deep growth that comes from rebuilding yourself. My mission now is simple: to guide men through their own evolution from who they’ve been to who they are meant to become.

Chad gets it, because he’s been there.
Chad knows first-hand what it’s like to feel “stuck”, and he understands what it takes to get “unstuck”. 20 years ago, Chad was a pack a day smoker, a binge drinker, and his fast food orders were setting him up for a life of disease. Chad inflicted self-abuse on himself to mask his low self worth. Constant negative inner dialogue led to poor mental health, that led to poor decision making, which ultimately produced poor life results.
Chad made the decision to breakthrough the darkness and do whatever it took to alter the trajectory of his life. He knew he needed to identify and shed the negative emotions and limiting beliefs that were holding him back. He began to focus. He was determined. He embodied and lived the philosophy: “Failure is not an option.”
Having suffered from depressive thoughts, limiting beliefs, low self-esteem and low self-worth – a combination that led to unhealthy lifestyle choices – Chad is open about his journey. Chad knew he had to evolve through life by embracing his past, to clearly understand where he needed to go in the future.
He looked back, learned, created a strategy, and implemented the strategy. Chad decided he’s not ever going back, and he’ll guide you out of it too.
